Description

Interested in finding simple yet impactful ways to weave wellness into your professional and personal life?  If so, please join faculty and staff colleagues for Wellness Wednesdays the first Wednesday of each month (September to June) from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. in the RAC Lobby.  Each session offers information, resources, and/or immersion into different wellness modalities that are supported at UMBC.

Ergonomics is the science of fitting workplace conditions and job demands to the capabilities of employees.  These principles are used to improve the "fit" between the worker and the workplace increasing productivity and well being.  In this 1-hour session with F. (Liz) Elisabeth Albertini, you will learn the various health benefits of an ergonomic workstation and how to set up an effective workstation for your needs.

F.(Liz) Elisabeth Albertni began working with IWIF in July of 2005 where she joined the State Employees Risk Management Association (SERMA) unit as a Risk Management Consultant.  She has 35.5 years of government experience in both Federal and State agencies and is a Certified Ergonomic Assessment Specialist.

Space is limited and registration is required.  Registration deadline is Friday, April 29, 2016.  Register at: http://my.umbc.edu/groups/training/events/34210
