On May 6, 2015, the Career-Life Balance (CLB) Initiative will be launching at UMBC! Everyone is invited to attend! The event will be held in the AOK Library on the 7th floor open area from 3:00 PM - 4:00 PM. UMBC's President, Dr. Freeman Hrabowski, and other campus leaders will be providing remarks at this event to share information such as leave policies, e.g., family matters/maternity/vacation, and other initiatives on campus that make career-life balance one of UMBC's values.
At the Career-Life Balance Launch, other organizations that advocate career-life balance and wellness of the individual will be present as well. We will have representatives from the following organizations at our event:
- Counseling Center
- Fitness and Wellness @ UMBC
- Green Dot Bystander Program
- Health and Wellness Initiative
