Unhealthy Air Quality Alert for Maryland

Encouraging Retrievers to Stay Indoors Today

Hey Retrievers!

The Maryland Department of the Environment has issued a Code Red air quality alert in the Baltimore region of Maryland.

This means the air quality is unhealthy for the general population. Some members of the general public may experience health effects. Members of sensitive groups, including those with asthma and other lung diseases, may experience more serious health effects.

Staying indoors as much as you can & wearing a mask while outdoors can help protect you from the impacts of pollution from the wildfires in Canada.

For updated air quality forecasts follow @MDEnvironment on Twitter or explore the Maryland Department of the Environment's website.
