A Brief Introduction to Suicide Prevention
Tuesday, April 25, 2023 · 12 - 1 PM

Suicide can be prevented. This presentation will cover what we know about this leading cause of death, the most up-to-date research on prevention, and what we can all do to fight suicide. Participants will learn the common risk factors for suicide, how to spot the warning signs in others, and how to keep ourselves, our loved ones and those in our community safe.

Sis, join us in The Mosaic (Commons 2b23) on Tuesday for Sistacare! A community care series for Black women and femme students on campus. Come connect and chat with us in a community for us by us. In collaboration with OHP and The Women's Center. 

This is a multi-week series that will take place on Tuesdays in April. We look forward to seeing you April 11, 18, and 25 in The Mosaic Center.

A follow-up to our collaboration with the i3b for PRIDE Week. Stop by for games, trivia, and connecting with staff, get screened for HIV in partnership with the Maryland Health Department, and learn more about sexual health, contraception, & PrEP resources. Screening will occur privately on the first floor of The Center for Well-Being.
