Mindfulness Mondays

A Space to Breath. To Reflect. To Be.

Mindfulness is the practice of purposefully bringing one's attention into the present moment without judgment. Join the Office of Health Promotion and the Initiatives for Identity, Inclusion and Belonging (i3b) to pause and connect with yourself, others, and the space around you. Each week, you will have the opportunity to practice mindfulness

i3b staff strives to create the most inclusive environment possible. If you need to request a disability-based accommodation or have any questions, contact i3b at i3b@umbc.edu.

Community Conversations is an interactive event that will help students understand the role of community in supporting their well-being and mental health. This conversation will also highlight what it means to "show up" for others.

World AIDS Day Testing

In observance of National STI Awareness Month, join us and the Baltimore County Department of Health for our HIV/AIDS Testing Event. HIV/AIDS impacts us across gender and sexual identities, race, and class, so it is important to get tested and know your status. Visit our Relaxation Zone in the Center for Well-Being Lobby to learn more about HIV/AIDS prevention while waiting for your test results.
