In this episode, we keep with our October tradition of talking about spooky plants by chatting all about carnivorous plants! Carnivorous plants are predatory flowering plants that kill animals, primarily insects, to derive nutrition from their bodies. Fun fact: Did you know that there are 19 different species of carnivorous plants found in Maryland.
